Hi James. Good to see so many Brits taking part in this challenge! Like your idea but perhaps as a suggestion you might taper the chain toards the end as it looks as though it would be much too heavy for her to lug around! He's a big beast and that's one hell of a chain! Good luck and I look forward to seeing your WIP. Claireabella

Thanks Claireabella I will take your comments on board when I get some time to update the model....

Yeah the chain. Fun dino though. What about a simple dog leash? Hmmm.

hehe well I think I will keep the chain, I like the idea of some girl holding onto this oversized lead trying take her pet for a walk ..... :-)

Mate, from what you said on the phone, I'm glad I had a look at this.

Quirky and fun. i almost want a statue of your Dino in its unfinished glory.

Try and increase the drama and emphasize the weight of the chain. Make her struggle look almost insurmountable by a curved back or straining legs. I really like the way its headed Woodlouse so keep it coming. :)

I kind of like him without the horn aswell. He looks far more Lenny-like and reminds me of old Busta Grimes back at college... I think a sort of Aardman approach might be nice aswell as regards the detail level. Pebble eyes that sort of thing, reminiscent of the Penguin...

You said you want to have fun, but you could still market something quite sellable if you are careful.

good luck on Glen's showreel by the way. The old tart, told me he was visiting you.

Coming along nicely mate :)

It would be nice to get a bit of motion into the beasty, maybe a mid step. How about for pure comedy value one of those clean up after your dog poos signs in the foreground :)
