The Paper Tigers that love and love and love have no faces....only a slave heart.Hwo cares?they are slave slave slave.

03 March 2005, 09:50 AM (

I want to model paper made people with no epressions on the face...but posed in various servant posture.
maybe i put an hand of a guy huo put another "servant" to the party.and a big gold heart at the top center of the image....ummmh still "mumbling"

03 March 2005, 10:07 AM
so, the "master" in this piece is the person folding the paper-peoples?
That's a funny original consept! :)

03 March 2005, 11:41 AM (

This is a texure test.I want to put some significant details as "feelings" scribble on the paper.I point show the sadness hidden in the "love slave" and the impossibility to express the pain inside.This...i think..put people to "purge" them personality transforming the pain in a sort of absolute adoration to the beloved person. Is this not to be slave?...slave of a self injected illusion?I have no answer and "aerious" question about this....but is how i feel when i fall in love insanely.(sorry 4 my spaghetti english..please!^_^)

03 March 2005, 12:12 PM (

A paper material test.

03 March 2005, 12:16 PM

03 March 2005, 04:47 PM ( now testing the modeling of the paper guys.

03 March 2005, 05:00 PM
Just about the Master in this image.Maybe, looking at the concept...that the master seem the hand huo put the paperguys. But not so.The hand...if i include it in the final one impersonal character .....a sort of soul that is loosing itself, falling in a "love slave" it add himself in the slaves party...add himself as a paperguy among the others.
An important aspect of this that here we are talking of slaves that put itself in this condition, living a sort of distorted happyness.I have seen it many times around me!....for many people is more easy to live as a love slave, than someone that dont live any kind of good love relationship. The MASTER in this image is the gold heart at the top center of the LOVE symbol.A double value after all....a gold heart...because it represent a necklake...that is a classic present to a beloved person......male o female.....doesnt matter...and is an Heart...the simple symbol of love. (spaghetti english RULEZ here!gosh!^_^)

03 March 2005, 05:03 PM
that looks like very soft paper..
I think it would be alot cooler if you used regular writing/drawing paper.
Sharper folds.

you could even make thos people in real at first and see.

If you're using toilett-paper then its ok :D

03 March 2005, 07:47 PM
Way way cool.... By far the most original I've seen. Hope to see more!

03 March 2005, 04:03 PM (

more of paperguy

03 March 2005, 04:11 PM

That's so original! Like how it's looking so far.

Way to be unique!:applause:

03 March 2005, 04:11 PM
Wow  very nice idea of paper, it's very good :buttrock:
Can't wait to see more mate

03 March 2005, 11:19 PM
the concept is very original, and the modelling is looking awesome

are they going to be different (the paper-men)?

03 March 2005, 11:34 PM
Hey -OZ-, great ripping into the project so far mate...
Your concept has such unique visual appeal, my only suggestion is to try and pay attention to structure along the way. I mean the construction of the paper guys. I learned the art of paper manipulation when studying and you can get a great deal of strength and style out of different treatments (cuts, folds, creases etc)
If done, I feel this will add credibility to the image as the figures will have more chance of looking 'self supporting'
Keep it up!!

03 March 2005, 11:37 PM
Paperguy = Unique, original, imaginative.special concept, special idea.................I love it OZ.....Please continue.........I'm the guy clapping from the front row............Asking for an encore.......:applause: :applause:

03 March 2005, 11:38 PM
hey this is lovely man , really cute idea. lot of potencial
good luck!

03 March 2005, 11:47 PM
Hey OZ, your idea is very kewl and that paperguy's looking good. Keep up the good work!

03 March 2005, 02:31 PM
I love this character, it's simple yet so capable of expressing emotions. I think the texture is way to deformed and proportions in the squares dont get that uneven even if the paper is that crampled. Just a small question , I think that for the challenge you have to portray one human being (homo sapiens) you should check because it woul be a shame to have you out of contest for such a small thing when you are doing so good.

03 March 2005, 03:35 PM (

Just the neklake....the MASTER of the is brigth and clean....but..not too much!the surface is a bit di dirty.........not so clean at is pain sometime.

03 March 2005, 03:39 PM

03 March 2005, 08:39 PM

03 March 2005, 08:43 PM

03 March 2005, 10:56 AM (

this is the guy huo puts the paperguys on the....table?Im not sure if the scene will be realistic or conceptual...but...maybe a human figure is needed...anyway..the guy will be defocused and i a far background.

03 March 2005, 11:12 AM (

The guy will be used (if it will) in this way.

03 March 2005, 11:46 AM
i think here'll be created a real masterpiece...keep goin' OZ...

04 April 2005, 06:51 AM
I can't wait to see how your paper comes out. I have tried to create realistic notepad paper and just can't seem to get it right. Love to see how you do it.

04 April 2005, 11:59 AM
that rocks... the shader is subtle but yet efficient.

great modeling, wich sw are you using? not that it matters, but just curious.
