If i am the painter on this piece, i will just paint her hair like human hair..Or u wanna try Wooden solid hair like what we seen in Dragonball? It could be nice..haha..I dunno how to opinion in this one at all. But somehow, my dragonball hairstyle might spoilt the whole atmosphere of this great piece..
How bout change the chair color to Reddish abit? Do u like tos Chair got many traditional pattern like what we saw in Malay/Baba wooden chair? If u apply some idea into this chair, it won't look so ordinary. In other hands, u can easily get rid of hair browinish color too.
so nice to hear u got new job..i am goin to be jobless soon...haha.. Enjoy the holiday! I like Penang too! It's indeed a far trip down to KL man...!
05 May 2005, 11:03 AM
You are a very skilled painter. Love the attention to details. However...I kind of think your first sketch fits better somehow. Maybe the marionette now is too big? But what do I know...

love the feeling of her face a lot.look so charming.:applause:
05 May 2005, 06:30 PM
hooo, i just realized... you really are the hardworking modeler! his relationship to the doll is the same as yours to the picture! :D
05 May 2005, 10:28 PM
But who's the master and who's the servant ? The Modeller could be building the marionette for his servant or could be acting as a servant to the marionette in doing so much work on her.
I really love your original sketch and by looking at your warrior gal you can tell your painting skills are superb. I can't wait to see this painting completed - good luck with it !!

05 May 2005, 06:22 AM
Hey Michael. This artwork reminds me of the marker classes back at The One. Ah, nostalgia! The mood is interesting. The mannequin makes me laugh because her expression is like she is feeling blur right now.
All the details are excellent! Keep it up and hope you can finish it before the deadline! All the best to my fellow Malaysian!
