I'm really not sure if I'll be able to come up with a finished image for this challenge or not; I've started things a bit late, and I'm not sure how much spare time I'm going to have.

This is just a very simple base figure ready for Zbrushing.

So what you got planned?

I just went through your machineflesh thread again, and became quite amazed.. again.. I'd love to see same level entry in this challenge too, so i can be one more time amazed! :) Yeah you are maybe bit late, but don't let it bother, now you just have to use more time every day for this.. GL! :)

A new idea.
Probably inspired by the manga comic book "Berserk", as well as an illustration I vaguely recall by Kit Williams.

A quick (1hour 40 min?) roughout of the head.
And great thanks for the encouragement guys. I've been close to giving up on this challenge, but the nice kind words in my thread were all the fuel I needed to have another stab.

I had a go at making a timelapse movie, which I've never done before (getting it right took me almost as long as actually making the model).

ever seen Vampire Hunter D?

Damn, I'm less original than I thought
I've been meaning to see it, but havn't yet. I didn't know it featured a head in a hand.
