Can't see more than 1-2 images but it looks sweet to me :)
Is it by any chance based on the old Platoon game for Amiga?

Hehe, I`ve edited it again...Holy shit. Please comment it whatever you think, ladies and gentlemen.
As far as I know, it is not based on the AMIGA game, it`s a new concept, etc.
I don`t know more, because after this cinematic Digital Reality cancelled the contract with the renderteam. :-(

Cool stuff. As far as the 'Are cinematics needed for games' question, it's not really a yes or no questions. If the cinematics are done well and they add something unique, or serve a specific purpose that can't be done in game, then yes, they make a great addition. If they detract from gameplay, are poorly done, or serve no purpose (i.e. advancinc the story, charater building, ect) then they should not be included.

Thanks guys...I`m afraid I post always at the bad time, because there are very few comments...

You'ld probably get a lot more comments if you embedded one or two of the images in the post instead of linking them. I disregaurd most links cause 90% of the time they either don't work or are to slow. Just my take on it.
