Do you use pCharacter plugin..?
I've seen a video importing a Daz character into XSI (I think Foundation), it was simple and quick. The character was nude and without hair.
Any exprerience out there..?

Yes, I have this plugin and it works very well with Foundation. First you import the base character (eg Michael or Victoria), then you can import hair and parent it to the model, and import clothes and use the same rig so you get the "conforming" that you may be used to in Poser. There are a bunch of templates for the different characters. I believe the creator is working on a plugin to bring Mimic animation data in for the models too.

That's great news for me, thanks.

I was wondering if the Millennium Gilrs and Boys are also working ..?
They're not on the list I think..!
Again thanks sway:)

What about rendering the imported model??? I'm interested in this because every import attempt from poser always led to dissapointment. Are the shaders reset to XSI rendertree equivalents??

The import dialogue lets you select a pz2 "MAT" file for the character (subset of pz2 format that is used to apply just a texture in Poser). The material zones are brought in as clusters.
I imported V3 ReducedRes cr2 file, and a MAT file
