View Full Version : Animation Problem-Automatic Tween

03 March 2005, 09:02 PM
Is there a way to turn off, what I would call "motion tween?" For example say I set a pose on "Frame 1" and then on "Frame 5" I set a new pose. What I do not want is an automatic tween between of the poses. Frame by frame is all I want.

Please respond if you understand my question. I did a search but did not find an answer to what I am looking for.

Thank you in advance

You want to set your default keys to "Stepped"

You can find this in Window>Settings and Preferences>Preferences....

And then it will be under "Keys" or "Animation"

Set in and out tangents to stepped.

To change the keys you already have to stepped tangents, select them in the graph editor, and select Tangents>Stepped

Man, that was the quickest reply I have ever gotten. Thank you Morganism.
Since we are on this subject. Would you be able to answer the same question but for Max?
If not it is cool.

Thank you again,
