Ok i'm new to maya but not new to 3d. I'm tyring to see if there is a way that I can use maya to simulate gravity and the effects of other forces on simpel structures. I feel that the dynamics system in maya might let me do this However lets say that if I wanted to simulate two objects joined by a singel nail or some other agent assuming I knew all the physics behind this union could I set up a situation within maya that would allow me to accuratly simulate it's performace as though it were in the real world. PS. I am not afraid of math or scripting and would perfer to approch it from that p.o.v. simply because of the level of accuracy this project will require.
