I was really lucky to get an interview with Kinuko Craft recently. I did a telephone interview with her, and spent almost two hours conversing with this lady, one of the finest artists of our time. She really gave me a lot of insight about the art and illustraion business. Her knowledge was very illuminating to me. She was also very inspiring and has some messages for new and up-and-coming artists. The artwork she shared with me is amazing and to my knowledge not available anywhere else on the internet at these resolutions. Definitely, come and read this article, you will not be disappointed.

She's been awarded Grand Master in one of the Spectrum annuals.

I'm wonder if she has actually tried something like Corel Painter, because I think her style isn't one that couldn't be reproduced digitally. Her work is fairly smooth and tight, and digital is typically better at that style than a style that relies on variations of bold brushworks. Maybe someone needs to show her what Corel Painter can do.
