View Full Version : Help with facial blend shapes!

this is my 1st post, and i am actually pretty excited about it! I have a maya rigging question... I am currently rigging a character who's head is attached to his naked body, in 1 mesh. i have always done facial blend shapes for lip syncing ...but the head has always not been attached to the body. Any ideas on how i can pull off some facial blend shapes to a face that is attached to the body? If possible can you direct me to some tutorials?

You can detach the head, and do blend shapes like you've always have, then just reattach the head to the body and the blend shapes will still work.
