I've created a scripted manipulator plugin and I wish to add a check box to flip the orientation of the pivot.
I'm using the function from the help to rotate the pivot:
function RotatePivot obj rotation=
local rotValInv=inverse (rotation as quat)
animate off in coordsys local obj.rotation*=RotValInv
the function call goes something like this:
on pivotCheckBox changed theState do
RotatePivot this (EulerAngles 0 180 0)
However, all this does is through up a Rollout Handler Exception Error stating:
-- Unknown property: "Rotation" in testManip
Is it actually possible to do what I'm after or am I going about this in the wrong way.
Any help most welcome :)
