View Full Version : Best Greenscreen Tips..

I am making a composition with a greenscreen-footage.. the background of the composition will be in some cases a 3d-scene and in some cases a photo-scene..

Now I am asking Tips for compositing this kind of footages..
How do you make the foreground look like that it is a part of the background and vice versa? Do you use "Set Matte" to get a blending/lightspill layers? Or what is your technique to combine these two layers?

I am asking this because my scene is missing some kind of a depth between foreground (guy standing in front a a greenscreen) and background (3d and photo)... I have tried to match the colors with color correction, tried to make a little bit of Depth of field with blurring the background etc..

So.. please.. share your experience and tell me that how I can make depth between my foreground and background.. :]
