02 February 2005, 03:18 AM

Some quicky doodle done on my sketchbook. I seriously have been missing out so much. -_-; I figured I seriously can't miss this topic for all it asked is a 2 minute sketch of any DSG member's avatar! Had lots of fun drawing Roberto though! :D Rather amusing expression or somewhat to capture.

Heh, I need to fix myself an avatar soon too! :D

Alex Worthy
02 February 2005, 03:28 AM
Well, I don't do much dancin. But I've got an avatar now, so that calls for a toast.

02 February 2005, 04:29 AM

Artrage... about 1-2 hours. I got really into it.. since I never got a chance to do avatar stuff... so I'm making it up to ya! :D I tried my best to get everyone in it, but I eventually got tired and had to stop somewhere. :/ But.. hey ;)

With a little help, tea cups can dance too:

Pencil & ballpoint pen, less than five minutes.

Vitrolic: I am usually lucky with ladies, just not these days:p

02 February 2005, 02:30 PM
SalamanderCoral: thats a real nice one!
Augustus: Without your comment, I'd swear they were playing ball with teacup.

02 February 2005, 03:03 PM
roughly 2 minutes per avatar

02 February 2005, 04:42 PM
Ilikesoup - ROFL! That bump gets me every time!
digital_embryo - freakin' hilarious on both of them!
Vitriolic - SPIN BABY! YEAH! Outta control.
SalamaderCoral - really good one! Is Sagi putting the make on Roberto there? LOVE IT! :)
Element5 - good sketch! But us dainty little girls prefer martinis over beer! HA!

Very fun thread with the 2 minute thumbnails, Roberto. This idea might be revisted every so often with different topics!

02 February 2005, 08:01 PM

2 minutes, so no-one has an excuse not to enter. Here's mine. I cheated only a little (2 mins for outlines and 2 mins for colors :D)

02 February 2005, 11:32 PM
"I don't care if you ARE a "moderator" This is a private party and YOU ain't comin in! Now shove off!"

The inital sketches were only two minutes each, but I wanted to carry on so this ended up being about 15 - 20 minutes...

03 March 2005, 02:48 AM
the damned - you've uncovered my secret vice - frilly silk boxers! Awesome sketch btw  Same goes for The Ton, you crazy mixed-up guy!

augustus - just noticed that I blatantly ripped off your idea, oops sorry.. Somehow missed it before. And apologies for casting any doubt on your womanizing abilities.. :D

Cheers all,

03 March 2005, 04:14 AM
Element5 - I'll take you up on that fact, I'll take 2!
<clinks martini glass with your bourbon and coke> Cheers, mate!

Ton - that is FANTASTIC! LOVE IT!

SuperV - PEACE and LOVE MAN! :)

03 March 2005, 06:10 AM
I really underestimated the challenge of 2min...

edit: I used a timer now and realized that I was somewhat off.... in fact a minute is a lot faster than it bad

03 March 2005, 06:21 AM
i'm sooo sorry Robinayles...but it is only a two min sketch and our avatars did seem to get along so well in the avatar blood bath.
about 4mins all up

03 March 2005, 08:00 AM
Alright, here's a WPE with a whole bunch of exactly timed 2min's horrible!!! TERROR!!! TORTURE! ...but quite interesting.

I think I make a giantic one of that kind....let's see where this takes me! Reminds me to "flash-chess" if somebody has ever played that. Rely completely on intuition and quick reflexes....

03 March 2005, 10:28 AM
One more:

Pencil, 3-4 minutes.

03 March 2005, 03:32 PM

3 minutes for each of them

Awesome sketches everyone.

03 March 2005, 05:49 AM
~ 2 min each less time to change colors (using a mouse it takes a while to find the color you want)

03 March 2005, 07:42 AM
Here's my go. Photoshop 7, about 3 minutes or so. So no rules huh? I'm ignoring the avatar thing.

03 March 2005, 05:18 AM
