Has anybody baked shadows using GI_Joe? If so a little direction please. I changed the directory to it's proper folder..but it is not working properly. Any comments or good tutorials on bakings shadows?

Have you thought about just using mental ray to set up a simple final gather scene, and then using mental ray batch bake? It's pretty simple to play with. Lighting/Shading> batchbake (mentalray) Jeff Parrott has a quick tut here: http://www.jeffparrott.com/mentalray_01.html
