1st animation test - this is a dumy model trying to cross a busy street. Just a wip, but wanted some critique.
Something still feels off about it.

fixed a couple of timing and weighting issues with the anticipation.

any other critiques?

Hi there. I would think about the timing a little more. Maybe hold the looking out pose a little longer, and have the snap back be faster. This would just add more pop to the animation. Also, his hands are swimming a bit on the wider gesture.

Good idea, maybe add some hair and let it blow by the Wizzing cars. Seriously it's a great start, although I'd add a obstruction(building) to his left so he actually can't see the cars coming. Also I'd add a breakdown for the end where his foot regains it's original pos, lift his hip up. Good job on the anticipation. This clip reminds me of walking to school today...

hey thanks for the great input guys!

MattVogt - added an obstruction and fixed the hip at the end.
jchristo - extended the timing a little before the reaction.

As far as his hands go, I am trying to make it semm like he is off balance because he is pulling back. Any comments on how to make it seem more carttony with the hands but still realistic?

Any more critiques or comments?
