View Full Version : Bump map Noise Problem in MR

I'm rendering an animation of a character that has a high res bump map for its skin. My problem is that the very fine bump detail is different in every frame so it appears as noise.
Anyone know how to remedy this?

Mayeb your anti-aliasing is too low?

You could try applying some texture filtering. If you dont use any procedurals, but just filetextures you may try some elliptical treatment which I described how to use in this (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=127477) thread.
If anything fails, the last solution might be higher antialiasing indeed.
