View Full Version : Moving CVs after binding?

Hi. I have bound a characters head but am yet to make any blend shapes and I've noticed a couple of CVs that need tweaking. Is it too late to do this? I don't want to add any faces or alter the topology, just tweak.

Hi Aaron. It's not generally a good idea to move verts after binding if you can avoid it. However, if you've only got the skinCluster deforming your surface you may get away with it.

Better would be to export your weights, detach the skin, tweak the verts, reskin the geometry and then import your weights. This isn't much fun, I'll warn you, but it's not a bad thing to know how to do.
