KILOWATT ( [QuickTime 15.5 MB 1:57min, Sorenson 3, Audio MPEG-4]

I wanted to make an ambient and stylistic film focusing mainly on animation in the compositing stage, for a change. I also wanted to try out the importing of camera animation/data from Maya to After Effects and some scripting in AE.
For those of you who are into this kind of thing, here's a view of the flowchart ( from the AE project...

I've always liked to build up animations on a foundation of music, this time I went with Boards of Canada. For some odd reason I've always thought of trains when I listen to them.

I like your style! Clean and very basic. Excellent work with the tight combination of music and picture!
Are the rails animated in 3D or 2D?
Keep up the good work.

Thank you all!

Ac0rN: Fantasia? Well, both films are very music oriented, but as you say, mine is a bit more simplistic  A great compliment anyhow.

Blockhead: The rails are animated in 2D and then pushed out with a 3D perspective within the composition.

Would love to hear some more comments and crits from all of you!

This is great, love the style and the way it's perfectly synced to the beat.
One crit: The running guy doesn't look as good as all the other parts of the movie. Other than that - it's super, keep it up, mate.
