A buddy of mine had me model a Character for a fighting Game....He posted some quick tests of some animation studies...Thought I'd share.
Model created with LW (of course) Animation in Max....

very nice character, what is the poly count? very fluid animations. the pony tail adds a good distractionary movement for a game! what game is this going to be for anyhow? also wondered what format you used to get it to max? not 3ds?

It's for a new fighting game.....There is a free plugin for Max that loads LWOs....it also maintains quads and that helps...

Wow where do you get the LWO importer? I model in LW and everyone around me works in Maya and Max, so I could make it easier on the Max half at least. . .

not sure where they got it...but I'm sure Max users have a site similar to Flay.com......they seemed to find the plugin in a matter of minutes...

enter lwo in the search engine and two plugins for importing lightwave objects into Max will display.

Very cool. Nice modeling. What game is this going to be for? It's great to see LW being used in that industry.

It's for a fighting game called Etheral Trilogy.....SunStorm is developing it.
