Hai! ya all. I have always love to watch anime :D . In recent years not just anime movie but tv series have started to used 3d and that have me interested to do a 2d+3d animation. The problem is i lack the drawing skill to do the 2d animation . So i might try to do it by using 3d celshaded character (well maybe some of them). The main character will be animated the classical way. I will post the story summary on my next post but for now here are 2 of the character.
THE PROFESSOR (Prof. Vornamen - main character)
This character will be animated 2d style.
The original design was from a friend of my. After that i redesign it a bit more to suit the style of the animation.
P.S. There will be a scene on a cold/snow area (i have an idea that the setting will be at the himalayas)
THE SCIENTIST (sub character)
This is a non major character as there will be a lot of them running around the scene.
P.S. i hope the mask doesn't distract the viewer cause i use it to cover up the face as this character is not that important.
More update on my next post and urr... anyone could tell me how to upload avi file so i could show my wip animation. thank a bunch.
well until next time!. Bye!

Here some new update. I did some modelling on the props and textured them. Hope to create a 2d look to them by adding toon ink to the render model. Here are the oxigen tank and box for storage. C&C is welcome.

i like the props, but the characters seem a bit "to regular" for me, but that might be personal taste, nice work on the canisters though

To jaydeschizo - Hahaha:) . Yeah i think so too. i like to keep it simple so i could animate it better in 2D ( the professor only, all other character will be in 3d with toon ink apply ) and then i would really like to finish this animation by end of next week if possible.
for today update.
Not much just a soldier sketch, i be posting a 2d animation test by today i hope.
