Light, atmosphere, colors are great - but the lightsources in the foreground keep distracting from that alien's face - i mean, that helmet bubble looks almost like another lamp.

A very enjoyable image, well constructed, textured and lit. This is very clear when you take a look at your original Spacedocker thread that looks a little basic with its flat lighting, but the composition of this scene has really brought everything to life.

Stunning ! I like the design of the robot and the industrial mood.
Same comment as azazel about the "distracting foreground lights".
Keep up the good work !

Very nice scene:thumbsup:, I love your lighting, very soft and subtle which match the models. I like the way you make things around glow in faint light. Is the grain created in photoshop? or is composited in Max?

That's a very nice concept, even if not showing much. I love the way the bacground is just suggested and how the yellow light glows everywhere. Good job dude.

although it's a bit strange. the whole image gives me a feeling of sadness, but if you look at the 'cockpit' of the robot, it looks like there is a weird alien sitting there, which is funny.
still, very very very good work !

Very nice work. The robot has great character!
02-26-2005, 05:54 PM
I love the composition and the character of the spacesuit/exo-skeleton.
Moody and playful!
