View Full Version : where is the ripple shader located?

I cant find this little bastard anywhere and I could have swore I installed it. Where would I look in the install to find this if I left it out by mystake.

I am looking for the ripple shader cant find it anywhere or if anyone would mail it to me would be much appreciated trying to create a ocean but cant find the shader to install it on my lightwave cds.

Not on 6.5 at least I need to find my 7.0 cd maybe its on there.

are you talking about the procedural texture?

if you are indeed talking about the ripples procedural texture, you wont find it among the shaders, but on the texture panel. under PROCEDURAL TEXTURE \ texture type (where you find also FRACTAL NOISE, CORIOLIS and so on)

if you are talking about some shader that simulates the ocean water effect, i dont know, i can only advise the fresnel effects or the DR NatureFX Ocean Shader...

and that would have been why I couldnt find it was looking in the wrong place. :)
