Hi. I'm currently looking for a job, so I've updated my demo reel. I'd like some feedback on what works and what doesn't, etc.

It all depends on what job you are going for if your going for a animation job i would give you a 10/10 all your characters a live like and i hope to be as good as you some day good luck with your job searching.

Good work man! Though, u have some really stong work that is near the middle and end which u may want to bring forward. Also I noticed a fair amount of lip-syncing, but I cant tell if its any good cause there is no audio. Any change of adding that in?

DUDE, i knew i recognized that little fox character you animated for method games. So i guess you were the other guy that job was narrowed down to... I did like three or four animation tests with that guy, as i'm sure you did too, before the job finally went to the "other" guy, which was YOU! That's hilarious, and congrats! Some of those cycles looked really nice. Man, it's a small world.
So are you still there? How is that going for you?
anyway, good stuff, mostly. I'd put those cycles and the stuff you did for that 4x4 that could fly thingy at the beginning. I don't really care much for the fish guy. the dancing and stretching scene is okay. Either way, though, pretty strong reel. congrats.

Hey Capel, small world indeed! I actually knew another guy who did a test for them from the forums. Sorry to say it, but Method closed down a week and a half ago http://cgtalk.com/images/smilies/sad.gif. I had a great time there, though, and met some great people, so no regrets. Where did you end up?

That's too bad. Yeah, everyone there seemed pretty nice.
As for me, i just finished a three month freelance gig at Duck Soup Studios in Santa Monica.
I worked on three or four TV spots there. It was a blast. Now i'm back on the job hunt.
so do you have anything lined up?

In general your animation is quite good.
The blue guy who jumps for the rope lacks weight when he grips the rope, his body weight should pull him down harder so you really see his arms extend and carry his body weight.
The old man walk cycle is great.
Your in game loops are nice. Shame the studio closed down. Good luck finding more work!
