The CGNetworks Grand Space Opera Challenge is closing soon: midnight at the end of
17 January 2005 (GMT).
To be eligible for judging, you must make sure that you complete all
of your milestones, and upload a Final Image as both a JPEG and a TIFF
If you are uncertain what milestones you have remaining, you may check
them at this page:
The Final Image JPEG must be submitted as a milestone through the normal
image submission process at:
The Final Image TIFF must be submitted via FTP, further details are here:
Your final image dimensions should be print resolution (as large as you
can possibly render).
A guideline is 2657 pixels wide and/or 3636 high, 300 DPI (portrait), or
3636 pixels wide and/or 2657 pixels high, 300 DPI (landscape). Your image
aspect ratio and layout will dictate the final resolution. These are given
as guidelines. To be safe, render images that are larger than these
DO NOT upsample your images to achieve higher resolution. If you cannot
reach the desired full-page resolution, just send in what you have.
All entries must be submitted by Midnight at the end of
17 January 2005 (GMT). No late entries will be accepted. Note that
depending on your local timezone, challenge submissions may end earlier
for you. There is a "time left" indicator on each of the pages listed
above, check them if you are unsure.
