I'm selling the below, and thought I'd see if any other potential Lightwave users were interested before I try the "dreaded" Ebay.

Character FX Tape, Advanced Messiah
All are full commercial windows licenses (opposed to Mac) tied to ONE parrallel port dongle.
Asking 1,050 dollars, or best offer, in American funds. Buyer pays shipping from Vancouver, Canada.

Great deal....someone should jump on this one!

Thanks Proton. Sorry about the JPG image quality folks. Best I could do while squeaking under the 50K size limit for attachments :)
I forgot to mention reason for selling. I got the Video Toaster Animators Special during Siggraph, so I'm selling off my extra licenses.

I know Michael L. He's reliable and will deliver the goods. This is an excellent chance for someone to get into LW.

not that i'm trying to get on your ass or anything, but the software versions are kinda old. but nevertheless its a great deal if you wanna get into lw and the place where you work @ doesnt require you to have newer versions of the software. i think someone will go for this one.:wip:

Keep in mind though PotatoHead, while it's not Lightwave version 7.5 that I'm selling, it only costs 395 dollars U.S. to upgrade from version 6 to 7.5
1050 + 395 = 1445
So we then have
Project Messiah 1.57
For a total of 1445
As the buyer will be recieving the commercial licenses, they can upgrade as they wish.

who ever buys the old version of LW...I'll see what I can do about a good price for the upgrade.....no promises...but maybe I can pull some strings...

Still, a real sweet deal.
So much NewTek gear for one price.

Not getting many bites to my email address. Anyone have any good suggestions on where else I can post this ?
I've tried the Yahoo Groups, but the moderator chucked my posting off of one of them...
Also posted on the Newtek.com buy/sell listing....

Since William teased the potential buyer with his post, i think people are waiting to see if William can come through
If he does, it will sell fast
You probable should hold off auctioning it till William has a definite answer

MichaelJL: that's why i said that the deal was good, cause $1,050 is a really good price.
09-07-2002, 02:08 PM
Well, hopefully William will be able to come up with a special upgrade price. Secondly, dropping the price a bit should excelerate things along nicely....

I've posted a thread in the 3D Buzz forum about this, so that the guys there can read about it to ;)

The upgrade... is it available for cross platform? I mean, what's involved in making this package run on my mac at home?
09-13-2002, 07:07 AM
Thanks Proton, that's great !
In response Miguel, please keep in mind that Aura is not yet available for the macintosh, nor is Project Messiah to my knowledge.
Again a reminder, I'm closing the sale on Friday September 13th, at midnight PST (pacific standard time)
Thanks to everyone who has helped spread the word, and effectively I might add.
Please email me at email@example.com if you have any questions.
