View Full Version : Morphing a character

Hi all,
I'm considering doing a project based on a character morphing into something else, i.e someone turning into a zombie ala pirates of the caribbean or perhaps a complete change into a monster or an animal.
The problem is, I have absolutely no way how I would go about it. Altering the original mesh with bones/influence objects/blend shapes/whatever will only get a limited amount of deformation, but nothing like what is needed for a big change in the character, and I don't know of a way to blend two meshes with completely different toplogies.
Any ideas?
