View Full Version : Glow-problemo!!!

09 September 2002, 07:27 PM
Hi!! All gifted XSI-folks....

In my journey deep down into the secrets of SoftimageXSI Ive encountered a problem/challenge....

Im doing some rendering with some simple nurbscylinders and I want to have a glow around them. So I made a glow-pass and for some reasons the geometry is also rendered in this pass.

So my big Q. is: "how can one render out only the glow???"

Well thanx a 1000 in advance!!!!

You are better off doing your glows in the FX tree. It's much easier to control and the results are better.

Hmmmm....Well I guess all kind of post-effect are better made in
a composit-programs...

Anyway thanx(again) mr. E. Ill have a look on the fx-tree.
