View Full Version : Plate Photography: What should be the required elements for shooting useful plates?

12 December 2004, 01:14 AM
Hi guys Roberto here.

I am right now in the Caribbean shooting some static plates
in Mini DV to be used in some future challenges for the forum.

The footage that I am shooting will be a will be varied since it will be used from digital mattes, to full-blown comp work.

So I was wondering, what other elements should I shoot along with the footage?
What other stuff should I photograph, record or keep track off to help you in your comp job?

For example should I try to attempt to do some photographic plates with my digital still camera, for HDR work?

Looking forward to your input.
