I'm not an expert in XSI or in modeling, but I think the lines you pointed were caused by n-gons, that is, faces that have more than 4 sides. If you stick to quads (extend your cut lines all the way, or make them loop back somehow, just avoid n-gons and tris) I believe it'll clear up those lines for you.
Or do you mean the sharp bend where it's not suppose to be? If that's the case then I think it's caused by the double vertical lines you've made there. If you delete one of the vertical lines I think it should be gone. Bonk my head if I'm wrong... can't think clearly, need to get back to the drawing board, heheh.
