Say I want to start fire from frame 1 and grow the emitter till frame 100, so that it appears like the fire is spreading. I add a line emitter to frame 1 with two points. Frame 100 should have like five points and the emitter line oughta be more curvy.
With common sense, I would turn on animate, go to frame 20 and add point and curves with 'Edit control points' tool. Then goto frama 50 and add point to the same emitter. And so on till it looks like a forest is on fire.
Apparently it isnt like that in Comb.
I did this all the time when I was using pIllusion, but apparently the results are more or less fubar in Combustion.
And another question, someone said Comb is using particleIllusion engine 3, but I think it's using v2. How is it?
