Hi pepe , i show your reel and i like it but looks a bit slow too much long for my opinion it will be ready if you compress it .Normally is good about 1 or 2 minutes more length get bored .

I like the begining and the girl animation. and the robot aniamtion speaking with the machine.

Not sure about don quijote erratic movement , you dont really read propertly the animation is a bit to much overacting.

another think is you put in the incorrect pat of th forum this is for still should be in Finished work: animation.

Un saludo y suerte con el reel

Hi Luigi!

Ok, I agree with you in the fact of that this post is not in "the correct part of this forum" but when I tried to put it in the new section "Finished Work: Animation (" it didn┤t work. I would be very happy if the moderator changed this work to the other thread.

Another issue is about the length of the reel. Other people told me the same, then, finally I think that I will cut it and probably I will edit it again. About the overacting of the Quijote, I would like to know more opinions, because the situation itself is very exaggerated...

Thank you.

More opinions, please!

Very good reel pepe,

I agree with the others about the length..

For me the acting of the quijote on that scene is appropiate, in fact, for the designs Torsten has made that kind of animation looks to me more appealing and nicer...and also the action hapening with the barrel and so, seams like a funny situation where some more cartoony movements could fit better... and above all i actually like it very much :D

PS:con respecto a lo que dice josich, me sumo a la peticion, ya sabes que hay algunos que tenemos especial interes en el proyecto ;)

un saludo.

Great work - it's good to see some longer dialogue scenes too. It's an impressive feat on its own. As for the length, it's not paced quite right. Sometimes it alternating quickly between snippets and then it's a full scene. Maybe you could use some titles to split out the scenes and end with a string of snippets?

Definitively I'm going to do my reel more like a kind of video clip, cutting some of the more longer shots...

Thank you to everyone for your comments! Any more?

Some really nice work here, but imho some variation in quality as well. I would be more selective and edit it down a bit. This would also address the length issue. well done!

the character of the image is Rocinante, Don Quijote's horse. It is for the next Filmax Animation feature film: " Donkey Xote". I'm agree with you in the quality of the design and the final look, but it is not my merit, I only made the animations. You can see the teaser of this film and others in (
