I specially like the 2nd one from robertt, I think that if something great is made simple it's even greater... I love the simplicity of it, it goes right to the point :scream:

A New Zealand sunset is a thing of beauty...

Used a couple of ref. pics I took of the sun setting in New Zealand as I travled by train from Picton to Christchurch. The colors were unbelievably beautiful, this sketch doesn't nearly do it justice. 1.5 hrs PS/Wacom

It's basically the same with Painter 8 except that it has more features and is faster in painting w/ brushes.

That's all I know. Why don't you check it out at painter's website and see... they will tell you a lot about the new painter ix compared to painter 8, etc. :)

I personally like Painter IX better because it has some more features that I like. :D

Is it just me who can never see boberts pictures? I can't either (though I could in the past, don't know what's happened... )

a whole Icecreamplanet, now, that would be just B-E-A-utiful!

Not that much job, pulled an ink sketch into streamline, simplyfied the paths and coloured it in photoshop.

Can you tell I'm home due to a sprained ankle and catching up on my sketching.
I thought, can't do much today, SO, I'm having fun! Glad you liked it.
I feel bad for the girls in the forum..there are all these great sketches of girls—for the guys. I'm guessing the girls are feeling left out, but not to worry. I'm taking care of that girls...check out Edge of Paradise like around...7PM EST ;). cLos

11 November 2004, 01:14 PM
Thanks Drawmonger and robinayles! ^^ Though I didn't like my last one that much and thought I should attempt at it again with a different colour mood. And add in a little bit more time into it. Great works everyone! cLos71, I love yours! It sure made me laugh some!

I would agree the second Unicorn picture is very nice but I prefer the origonal, it is well drawn with great colour balance and dramatic content.

Congradulations to everyone that has posted an entry, I enjoyed browsing through them all!
