Hi Vittorius! I don't want to be bitten by him... but I like his comic/serious style. Show us some idea of the scene, I want to see who will have troubles with this dude:bounce:

Looks really cool so far, but I can't tell u any other crits/compliments:shrug: which way do u want go with ? Do u create a story (don't know if it's a must-have for the jury, but I think so - everyone got one...)?

Looking forward to see your overall sketches/scenes...:bounce: and maybe your story - I think it will be a cool, weird one, if i look at your char, hehe!

Best wishes, Kacper - do it well:thumbsup:

11 November 2004, 07:04 PM
No problem man. I wanted to be sure you got credit for your hard work. Besides if your going to beat me you entry's must be counted ;) Its looking good so far. I like the character head. Like Saschi0815 said tho, a story and concept sketch are really good things to have for this competition.

11 November 2004, 05:01 AM
Thank you all for your kind words, updates will be comming shortly.

The more comments the merrier.:)

11 November 2004, 05:20 AM
well, it's looking good. But where is the "grand space opera"? Waiting for those sketches of what your idea is. Do you have a story yet?

peace and good luck

11 November 2004, 05:36 AM (

This is my first idea for the story, let me walk all of you through it because it is quite rough. We start in a great "Opera" building where a huge group of different races gathered to watch a memory of a great war that took place years ago. At the bottom of the screen we got the crowed where the camera will be positioned. In the middle is a huge stage with 3D projectors on the side, which are displaying tragic events that took place during the war. In the back is gigantic 100% mechanic orchestra which provides the mysic to enchance the experience for all the viewers.
Well this is it for now. Hope to hear some critique and ideas that would make the scene better.

11 November 2004, 05:49 AM (

And this is the second idea. Again quite rough but I'm planing to update both sketches (Idea a and Idea b) during the next 24 hours. Here we see a small planet on surface of which a rescue shuttle crash-landed. 2 bounty hunters are looking for 2 robots (bottom right corner of the scene hiding behind a rock or a scrap piece of metal) that escaped from space station (space station in upper right corner of the scene). In the upper left corner a fleat is getting ready to attack the space station and establish dominance in the known universe. (middle right side = bounty hunters pods). Thats all for now. As I said before updated sketches are comming up in 24 hours. And remember the more posts the merrier. :)

11 November 2004, 06:45 AM (

I started making one of the bounty hunters, both model and the armor are still in making stage but updates are comming soon.

i really like the mask design of your bounty hunter~ keep it up~

11 November 2004, 07:12 AM
Your wolf model is really cool - looking forward to see the complete creature.

As for concept, I think the first one is fun because it includes an actual Opera - would be very interesting to see where you can take that. Keep it up and good luck!

11 November 2004, 12:14 AM
Hi Kacper,
I like your models, especially the wolf.
Regarding the concept idea, I think the first one have a great potential (and a little risky too).
Keep up the good work!!

11 November 2004, 11:29 AM
Kacper.................I think your 1st concept is best.I like the angle of it.The modeling is nice thus far....................just keep grand and scope in mind, along with pivotal moment, mix this in best you can with your ideas.......Work hard, and take care...............:arteest:

11 November 2004, 04:49 PM
Hi Kacper, cool story, man! I vote for the 1st one, too, - it's more original than the other...and has the epic style the jury want...

Your char looks great, too - looking forward to see all finished - i believe this is going to be fantastic...

Keep on doing....:bounce:

11 November 2004, 09:11 PM
hey seems like ur working really hard..i really like all ur models.. nice works mate... keep them comming... best of luck buddy

11 November 2004, 12:25 AM
Question, not crit.

Your bounty hunter model - uhm... doen't you think his neck+head are a bit far back on the shoulders? I'm thinking consider how well it's done it's all intentional, and you're trying for a particular look. Other than that I like the wolfie a lot :D *Woof Woof!*

12 December 2004, 04:35 AM (

Well I have to say that this was a crazy week for me (work, errands, errands, work ...) you know the drill. But the wolf is almost ready for texturing now. Hope to hear some c&c from you guys.

Whoops, double post!!! sry guys.
SibSpi you are right I will have to fix his neck for sure (wow that's a stupid mistake on my side)

12 December 2004, 09:03 AM
I think your doing a good job here Kacper............I think when you get a chance post a different angle of the wolf,i would like to see more of the balance of your Wolf........Perhaps I could point something out to better help you.Looks good, good luck with textures, but get another angle out,it's tough to get the full feel of the model........Oh and the guards.....Possibly give them seperate emblems or designs.insignias to give them some extra diversity.......Ok then, best to you, work hard and get this done.......:)

12 December 2004, 09:54 AM
Hi there! Nice development of this guy. I would only advice to make his arms more massive, I mean a little bit wider.

12 December 2004, 01:22 PM

I like your modeling job on the characters, nice look to the robot wolf. For the bounty hunter everything looks fine, one small crit, the ear seems to be rotated a little too much when looking from the side.
Which story line are you going to do, If you do the first one I think I would make the audience smaller than you have in the concept.
Good job with this.
