What are the best configurations for a Workstation computer. I'm Building My Own. And what about the Quadro FX4400.

Go to BoxxTech's website, or Alienware, or Dell, or HP, or anyone who makes 3D workstations.

Look at the specs of their machines. Build one like that. Or just read the hundreds of threads that already cover both your questions. You don't need to be spoon fed, you have arms and legs.

The best is up to how much money you want to spend. I am building a 10k machine at work (not for me ) but it would be one hell of a 3d blasting monster thats for sure.

Personally for 3d content creation I'd actually go for 2 screens.

Whats your budget? What software are you using? Are you concerned about heat output or noise?

That is why i have the big coolermaster case which i can throw under a desk somewhere and water cooling for the dual processors and dual graphics cards. I do not really have a budget as this is what I would build if I had that kind of money. And as for dual screens I was considering it but I thought it would add much more to the cost, I would like to keep it under $20,000.
