View Full Version : "old school" simple rigging

10-29-2004, 02:28 PM
hey all,

i haven't attempted rigging in lightwave since version 5 so i've set myself a little project to hopefully teach me a bit about it. the problem is i'm using a really simple character and everything i read about rigging is way to complicated for this excercise.

i've attached a image of the character, as you can see he has no hands and he doesn't have any knees (imagine it walking like a doll would) every tutorial seems to be way "over the top" for the simplicity of the job.

if anyone has any pointers it'd be much appreciated

edit - sorry no attached image. here's a link to it at renderosity
