Ok guys.

So it's gonna be really hard for me :)

My drawing skills are really bad but I don't wanna let a new challenge pass without me.

But maybe my new Intuos 3 will lead me to a final great design , who knows? :D

I already have a quite interresting idea and I'll be posting Concept Sketchs ASAP.

Thanks in advance for your advices and support ;)

Just a really quick one to block my first idea.

Added some colors

A landing of some kind. It looks like these people are being visited by unexpected guests. I'd like to know the story behind this one.

Good Luck.

In fact my first idea was :

There is a huge space battle and a big "mother" ship is damaged near a strange planet which is totally out of the conflict.

So those guys will be very surprised to see this big ship crashing in the middle of their city...

( sorry for my english )

11 November 2004, 07:52 PM (

Not sure about that , maybe I'll totally change.

a mother ship crashing into a city... that's a good idea, maybe you could change the point of view so that we could actually see that it is a city, and also to make everything look bigger and more "grand"
good luck with it!

Hey thanks a lot mate.

Yeah right now it's really rough. Just big shapes...

In my head it's really much more constructive , but well :)

Will try another point of view.

11 November 2004, 11:51 PM (

Always with my crashed ship idea but another point of view.

11 November 2004, 03:49 AM
Looking good Aerion  The latest crashed ship seems to have lost its impact, In the earlier images the ship is speeding down. Maybe you could have bit flighing of and the ship bouncing know like when they test 747 and smash them to the ground on film....very dramatic. I do like the earlier ones because of it motion and the view low to the ground looking up.....
just a few thoughts keep up the great work.

Ok thanks a lot , maybe I'll keep the first view then ;)

Ok so maybe pretty much the final Concept here.

So we're in the center of the city this time.

Comments are welcome ;)

With better contrast

Iīm for the last concept sketch, the craft hasnīt crashed yet, but you know it will...big drama
Like the style of your drawings a lot.
Maybe the ship is falling apart as it falls?(you know panels falling off and so...would also show the speed of the fall)

very nice on the latest sketch i think the ship could be bigger but the new layout does a nice job incorporating all the elements you talked about.

11 November 2004, 04:10 PM
Ok thanks a lot for your comments ;)

11 November 2004, 01:19 AM (

A new concept to change a bit.

But not really original.

11 November 2004, 11:29 AM (

Ok first touchs of color of my last concept.

Maybe I'll redesign the ship a bit.

I'll try to make a nighty city treatened by a burning ship.

Advices are welcome ;)

11 November 2004, 12:07 PM
Then I guess the design of the ship is not that important, just make sure it burns well, harr harr!
Nice concept sketches you have here, I especially liked the last crashed ship sketch.

12 December 2004, 02:51 PM (

Just a rapid sketch to show you my new concept.

I'll speed up to finish it before deadline.

Comments are welcome.
