It is a raw sketch.
The main idea is about ancient tradition when two strongest warriors fight with each other before great battle. And now it is transferred into the open space.

Looking real promising... the angle will certainly give you plenty of scope for adding in the 'grandness' that the challenge wants. Are the ships overhead going to be whopping stonkers? Is there gonna be tons of detail?
Can't wait to see how this progresses... your machineflesh entry was such a strong composition...

Are the ships overhead going to be whopping stonkers? Is there gonna be tons of detail? Opposition of two space armadas! There will be MEGAtons of detail!

Nice. I'm gonna love to see the colors on this. Very dynamic pose. Much action happening here.
Show them where the crawfishes live in the winter!:D
Great dynamic atmosphere!
Look like you are again returned to old legend!
Как на поле Куликовом закричали кулики так в порядке бесталковом встали русские полки!:)

Has a little changed design of the weapon.

i still love the dynamism of these poses... and the armour is coming on great!!
I really like the shapes made by their 'swords' and shields too. I prefer those new weapon designs...

wow! i cant say which i like better, the standing or the fighting poses: the standing has more tension, the fighting is more dynamic. keep going!

в ж... ибо не приняла земля русская нехристя.:)
to duddlebug: Thanks! I think the design of the weapon and armour will vary during the work. At the same time i have another plot in mind. If i have some time I'll draw it.
to Peddy: Thanks!

Wow, nice inkwork. I can't ever seem to get that to cooperate with me (Hence, semi-spiffy pencils) A little more variation in thickness might be nice, but still...purdy.
