View Full Version : audio<-->keyframes<-->motion ???

the thing is that i'm doing a wired animation of some city block , it turn out pretty well ...but i need the audio to "interact" with the camera motion (and some objects if it's doable) ...something like the AUTECHRE'S music video GANTZ_GRAF ..i know that such music video has a lot of handmande keyframe animation (just like mine) ....
so, :D my question : is there any way or to convert audio beats (certain frequencies) into keyframes?? (sometehing like SoundKeys for Adobe After Effects, wich work really well) or that the audio could modify the position and rotation of the camera??? ...Audio modifier comes to my mind, but i'm really lost ....

I had a similiar idea last december and this is what I did.
I mapped the audio modifier to a specific channel for a null object. I baked that to keyframes and saved the motion file to apply to other objects and scene elements.
worked ok, though it may not be quite what your looking for.

You can use the audio modifier but the results may be less than satisfying.
