Could someone please tell me how to import a piece of video and use it as a backdrop to an animation. I can do it easily enough with a still image, but not with video. cheers

If your video is a quicktime or .avi file, i think you have to chop it up into an image sequence. Then you can bring the image sequence into Lightwave and use it as a background.

open the image editor and click the "load" button. then go to the folder where the .avi oder .mov file is. then change the datatype at the bottom of the file requester form "image" to "all" and then choose the file you want. after that, in the image editor panel you have(?) to change the image type from "still" to "animation". all the rest you might need to know is in the manual ;)
