I just had a play round with the demo, and rendering one frame (really simple), with two nodes the time is 3 seconds, with just my workstation it is 4 secs.
1 render node: 6 seconds
1 Workstation: 4 seconds
both: 3 seconds
So yes it appears that it actually does network render one frame. Set up is the easiest thing i have ever done as well. Now if only i could save as an avi instead of targa files.

you can accelerate a 6 sec image via network!? how can they do that?
that's a good new. Time to test it too.

Bah, It doesn't do MD stuff. I am still completly new to this, so is there a way to save the MD stuff in a scene file. I need to re-run the MD to get it to render properly (settings are saved just not the object movements). When you run Harpoon my rope, in this case, doesn't have the right movement.

save it to an mdd file.
take time to read the manual too.
