View Full Version : max snap inaccurate

After snapping a vert ontop of another vert I zoom all the way in, to find that the vert is not actually directly where it should be. It is off slightly, but adds up over time when snapping objects end to end. How can this be corrected without welding or colapsing the verts, or having to manually type in the coordinates?

I've noticed that the further you are from the origo (0,0,0) the harder it is for max to get the snap right. For example, our scenes at work are usually based on CAD data that is positioned at 90 000, 90 000, 90 000. Moving it all to 0,0,0 usually fixes those problems :)
