the modeling portion of this tutorial is approximately 75% completed (subdivision lvl6 is shown in the above screenshot). When the modeling is finished i will post the steps here. This tutorial will cover a workflow i find to be incredibly efficient, using maya (or any other modeling package for that matter), complete with pictures and videos. When the time comes i may need some help hosting the videos if anybody can lend a hand for the benefit of the community. I hope to continue this creature into more phases to demonstrate texturing techniques (both in zbrush and photoshop), and eventually animation and rigging. but for now, enjoy the picture and keep your eyes peeled on this thread.. should have the tutorial ready to roll out by this time next week.
