Does anyone know why i can't use WAV files with AFX 5.0.
I can import them but i just don't hear anything when i use
them in the timeline.
Their waveform is flat and it seems like it AFX doesn't recognize

btw, i don't have any problems with MP3's. they work just

I am totally newbie, but do you have the production bundle? I seem to remember reading that audio had some issues in the stripped down version.

I think you might be using AFX 5.0 on Windows NT. I've tried it on NT but the wave files cause AFX to crash. One of the 'readme' files says that NT is not officially supported as the operating platform. Maybe the wav files have something to do with DirectX compatibility. On Win 98 it works just fine. win 98 supports DirectX. Or you might need a higher service pack for WIN NT.
