I've been trying to recreate a test I did long time ago on Maya with XSI. This is basically what I did with Maya:


I probably had a better version of that somewhere but I can't find it and you basically get the picture anyway.

So I made almost the same arrangement in XSI, with fairly respectable amount of GI and FG accuracy and number of photons, and I get this:


It's from a render region I did. So why's everything so.......... white?

Nevermind. The problem was I set the room's diffuse and radiance WAY too high.

There's still some little FG artifacts, but those can be cleared up by tweaking a bit I think.
