View Full Version : Lightwave to Modo to Maya 3D Conversions

Hi, I was wondering about the quality of the conversion of Lightwave 3D models to Maya (.ma) thru Modo. I have a large quantity of textured Lightwave models that I was wishing to convert for Maya on a Mac. If Modo can handle this effortlessly, it will be the icing on the cake.

I imagine Modo will only handle UV map conversions, but if it could handle planar projection maps of my older work, I would appreciate the info. Either way, I will be purchasing Modo soon.
