i am beginning to think i am missing something.
i went through documentations and everything that i found on the internet. still cant get it right.
its is just a T-shrit i am trying to simulate
how hard can it it be.?
well it already turned out as a nightmare.
so please help..
iam trying to simulate the tshirt on my character. they are not the highest poly count characters but they will do the job(it is about 12000 polys including face,hands etc.) shouldnt be too slow huh?
1 softimage unit is 1 decimeter right? so i modeled according to that scale
my character is 18 units high. (180 cm)
and the polycount of tshirt is 3000 soit has enough polys to bend and move correctly
here are my settings
stretch stiffness: 1
shear stiffness: 1
bend stiffness: 0.2 all the damping settings are 0.005
has a gravity -0.01
has a global damping 0.0001
colliding with an enveloped body( my charcter)
the size of the polys both on character and tshirt are about the same (2 cm x 2cm)
external envelope is 0.1 (although i tried settings from 0.01 to 3)
internal envelope is -0.5 8 again i tried setting from -0.01 to 3)
none works !
i started cloth simulation 30 frames before the animation so it has enough time to relax
it starts well unitl a certain frame than it jumps outof the place
it starts well again but when my character starts to run it sterctes soo much
and in all of these conditions collisions are not right (it is never right)
can anyone help me with that before i loose my mental health
