View Full Version : Mental Ray and Intersecting Light Fogs problem

With MR, if two light fogs intersect they seem to cancel out. Obviously this is not what I want. How do I get around this?
Maya Software renderer does not have this problem but I'd like to avoid using it since this is a part of a pretty large animation and an extra ligh fog pass would mean a lot of extra work...

I would suggest you to render using the mentalray volume scatter, here you can find more information

Anyway, I think I found some kind of solution using the parti_volume shader.
