I've been trying to give it a chance. They removed a bunch of the keyboard commands that I use all the time. (ALT-E for playlist, etc...) Not to mention the crossfade, while nifty, drove me crazy after 5 min.

For now 2.8 is my fav, but I'm giving 3 a chance to grow on me. (hopefully not like a fungus. :))

Personally I don't like it. It's overloaded with a lot of useless functions and it takes superfluous memory ... so I'm still using 2.80

The same thing is with Media Player 7, useless and overloaded too...

it uses 3 more megs of ram than 2.8..... what are you complaining about. the video stuff is worth the upgrade alone.

I'm not happy of this version .
The skins are too big, you can not put winamp in the top of your screens properly.
I'm still on the 2.80
