I have an animatic to do in 3d, want to use the camera animation for the final. Have done animatic before in xsi. This was my workflow, shure not the best:
- have one camera for every shot
- render capture with one pass for each camera
- bring the capture in AE where i display frames.
then for every time modification of the shots,
- have a script that select everything animated in xsi when i want to make a shot shorter/longer.
-render a new capture
-bring the capture in AE to see the complete animation and have the correct frames to the shots lying after.
-changing the length of the shot in xsi
Would like Solution:
use only one camera for all the shots. At rendertime, to avoid motionblur prbl, maybe store as an action and having a script that makes different cameras for every shot.
Would like to know if you have a better way of doing animatics.
