I am working with maya 5 and 6, and the following problem is the same:
Lets say i create a simple nurbes sphere, right click --> assign new material --> lambert.
In lamberts options, ichange the color, lets say, to light green, and add shading glow with an intensity of maybe 0.8.
Now zoom in, so the sphere fits the image and render. The result is very frustrating, big pixels (artifacts), mostly on the borders of the glow.
High render globals, like production quality with extrem antialiasing levels doesn't change anything.
It happens on both of my systems: Athlon XP + Radeon 9500 non pro; Duron 1300 + GeForce 4 MX
Thanks for any help (the cause interests me)
